Who doesn’t love a good challenge? Putting together a good custom cover is like putting together a good puzzle! You get to be in-charge of the process every step of the way, from okaying a thumbnail picture to okaying the font I use. I work with you every step of the way to give you what you want! It all starts with a conversation! My prices are based on any pictures that I purchase, and how many pictures are used in a cover and how they are merged together to create the perfect cover.
Book Cover Process
To ensure the perfect cover, I have a three phase process. First, I create three block layouts for the customer to approve. They are then encouraged to provide feedback for each layout, then I will provide a final layout and a quote for the customer before moving on to the second phase. If the customer has pictures they would like to use they may provide these pictures and proof of copyright at that time otherwise they can provide a general description of what they are looking for and I will provide thumbnail sketches and prices of some pictures to use on the cover. Once the pictures are approved I will send a mach cover with pictures for approval. Finally, I will provide some fonts and possible colors to the customer before putting together the final cover.

Backout Clause
If by no fault of my own you decide not to use a cover completed by me, you may back out of the cover at 50% of your remaining balance. I do reserve the right to use the cover I completed for you as a pre-made cover to be sold on my website.
Pictures and Copyright
I am willing to use pictures sent to me, but I must see proof of copyright for any image that are sent to me — this can include a signed affidavit of original work or a copy of the copyright release! Otherwise I must purchase(s) the picture at the author’s expense.
Timely Guarantee
It is my goal to get you a cover you can live with as quickly as I can, as affordable as I can and still let you have as much control over the process as possible. My goal is to have your cover created and delivered in two weeks or less. Should it take longer then two weeks I will offer you a 10% discount.* If you need your cover sooner then this I can expedite the process however my cost breakdown will be higher than the advertised price.
